The Shadow Guardian was a book for me at the right time. It fit my situation of where I stand in my current situation. This was a great easy flow read. The book kept on changing the course of direction within the book, however it did not take away from the book. When I started to expect the book to go in one direction it changed. The changed wasn't drastic it was subtle change and made the flow of the book easy going.
